I went to a Peruvian wedding today! This was right when the bride was about to walk in the door. Meredith and I got a little pampered today -- we got our hair straightened and we got pedicures. Then I took a bus to another EFCA church in Surco to go to a conference with the universitarios group and afterward took a walk around El Parque de la Amistad. The weather was incredibly hot and humid today -- it would be nice if there were such a thing as air conditioning here.

Day 16

Hey Bleached, You are having too much of a good time!! Your own bathroom!! Gads! then all this partying around, clubs, weddings, birthdays etc! Its gonna be tough to come back! I lived in a one bedroom apt with my parents and sis in India and we had 1 bathroom which was India style until i went back from the US in 1985 and mom had it fixed!! You are having an experience I wish more kids from the US had so they would appreciate what they do have-instead of being a bunch of waster, entitled folks. ENJOY!! i love the blog. O
