I spent about three hours at a cafe in Miraflores tonight, and it's definitely true that waiters will completely alone all night, and they won't bring you la cuenta until you ask for it. I just read a book and enjoyed the weather. It started to drizzle when I left. Tomorrow I'm moving up to basic Spanish class number three instead of one because it's way too simple, and if I'm only here 2 1/2 months, I don't want it to all be review.
Hi Bleach! Saw Mom yesterday and she gave me your site. Cool stuff! I signed in I think!! e wre in Lima last year and i know the mall you are talking abt I think because we stayed in the Marriott? hotel across the road. Want to eat the best sushi/sashimi ever, go there! Costa rica good too. We never had the sweet version of potatoes but boy can they cook potatoes there-and the varieties! We were in Lima for a half day of touring and spent most of our time in the Urrumbamba valley area, Cuzco and machu Pichu (can't seem to spell worth a darn today!). Incredible place and so inexpensive hope you have time to get there. I told Mom she should visit you and you can all play tourist! Enjoy it!! Hugs Olivia (the Smith lady scientist)
